Scrap Happens Retreats are the best! Darla exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful setting, great food, and an incredible hostess. In fact, it was so wonderful I already signed up for the next retreat! I highly recommend attending a Scrap Happens Retreat!

I was able to join the August Scrapbook Retreat at the very last minute. Darla was a "sport" and accomodated me and I am so very happy that it worked out. The retreat was absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. The setting was beautiful, the company awesome and the food and hostess so wonderful!! I felt totally pampered and welcome. I could not have asked for more! You are missing out if you don't join Darla on a retreat as you will walk away with a wonderful, happy experience! Thank you Darla for all of your hard work and wonderful hospitality! Kim Graves

I found the retreat on Craig's list and took a chance. My husband came along for the fishing opportunity. We were both more than pleasantly surprised by the experience Darla provided--a great hostess, an exceptional cook, and attentive to every possible need plus some. The group blended well and I enjoyed meeting new scrappers. Well worth the trip from Sacramento to such a beautiful setting, and I look forward to joining them again for the next retreat.

Thanks for putting on such a wonderful weekend for my wife and I. When she first asked me if I wanted to go to a scrap booking weekend with her, needless to say I was not exactly thrilled. However, when she informed me it was in Weaverville it suddenly sounded like fun to me. The combination of something Cindy loves to do and a location with some of the greatest fishing and wild country in the world makes for a great “couples retreat” (in my mind). We were both able to enjoy our favorite hobbies. Cindy scrapped to her hearts desire while I was wandering and fishing the streams and rivers of the Weaverville/Lewiston area. Additionally, I got to make some new fishing buddies and enjoy your wonderful cooking. The Indian Creek Resort was a great place to have this event. The Trinity River runs through the backyard of this place, Yahoo. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable having just been remodeled. The recently rehabbed pool was inviting too. As we said, we would love to attend again and again.

For the first time I was able to attend Darla's retreat up at the Indian Creek Lodge and was I blown away!! I can't think of one bad thing to say. The lodgings were great, the location was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the scapebooking accomidations were nice. I scaped while I had a view of the river and my own six foot table!! Of course the ladies that came were a fun group and I was able to meet new friends. I can't wait to go on another retreat! Darla was a lovely hostess and she is so much fun!! You gotta go!
